Luviair is seeking to appoint a Technical Coordinator to join its busy team based on the Isle of Man. 

The successful candidate is a licensed aircraft technician with previous maintenance oversight experience in a rotary wing operation. Additional experience at this level within a fixed wing operation would be a distinct advantage.

Job Description

This position is performed predominantly in our Isle of Man office, with an occasional requirement to travel.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve following the airworthiness of the fleet; serving as Luviair’s ‘Nominated Airworthiness Technical Representative’ to liaise with the registration state on airworthiness matters; working closely with the CAMO in Luxembourg to develop and coordinate engineering work packages to be undertaken; and ensuring all relevant parties are aware of planned and unplanned maintenance work to ensure the smooth running of the operation.

The successful candidate will be familiar with computer-based maintenance tracking systems. Luviair uses the Blue Eye software from MRX systems (mrxsys.com).

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Hold an EASA B1.3 licence.
  • Previous oversight experience in a rotary wing operation.
  • Knowledge of the Airbus Helicopter civil range.
  • Available to travel from time to time.
  • Capable of working in a multi-national setting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
  • Strong respect for airworthiness regulatory requirements.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a fixed wing operation.
  • Specific type experience on Airbus EC145, EC155, or AS365N3.
  • Experience liaising with airframe and engines manufacturers, maintenance workshops, and aviation authorities on airworthiness matters.
  • Knowledge of French.

The work routine is 35 hours per week + on call duties and is based at our offices in Ronaldsway.
