Luviair has just re-registered an EC135T1 from the UK to the Isle of Man registry.

The aircraft – which is owned by one of Luviair’s heliyacht clients – was also refurbished to the new owner’s specification.

In addition to a new livery and internal re-fitting, the aircraft is also scheduled to have an avionics upgrade, including the Spidertracks flight tracking system.

Nigel Watson was the lead consultant and project manager for the refurbishment project. He says: “This EC135 already had an excellent service history, having previously had another VIP owner, but the aircraft has now been returned to ‘as new’ standard. The new owner is very pleased with the aircraft’s livery and fittings. I am pleased that the owner has also taken the opportunity to invest in the upgraded avionics and Spidertracks tracking system. This aircraft is now ready to give many more years of service.”
